The fiber converter that also powers your PTZ camera

PTZ Monk is a 3G SDI-to-fiber converter that also provides Ethernet over fiber and power output over fiber. While converting the video signal to fiber and transmitting and receiving the Ethernet control data over fiber, PTZ Monk also powers the camera over fiber. PTZ Monk is designed to connect the PTZ camera to a Fiber Dock or Fiber Node hub via FieldCast Hybrid main cable.

Where to place PTZ Monk in the setup?

Connect the SDI, Ethernet, and DC power port of the camera to the PTZ Monk on one side, and connect to the FieldCast Hybrid main cable on the other side to transport all signals over fiber to the Fiber Dock or Fiber Node control station.
